Salesforce Architect

Our client is a leading healthcare/ medical device company seeking a Salesforce Architect for a direct perm role.  The position is 100% remote but would prefer someone from Canada residing in the Toronto area.
The Salesforce Architect is responsible for the comprehensive architecture and integration of our Salesforce landscape, ensuring the strategic deployment and effective utilization, aligning with business goals and technological advancements.

Job Summary:
The role of the Senior Salesforce Architect demands an expert in system design, providing advanced technical guidance and architectural strategies that encompass the Salesforce core, as well as CPQ and Mulesoft integrations. The professional in this position will be expected to deliver solutions meticulously aligned with the company's processes, enhancing system performance and user experience.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
 
  • Architect and oversee the comprehensive structure of Salesforce CRM, exercising expertise within the Salesforce core platform to facilitate robust and scalable solutions.
  • Manage the seamless integration and advanced functionality of Salesforce, emphasizing custom development and utilization of Salesforce core capabilities to their full potential.
  • Direct the configuration and optimization of Salesforce CPQ, aiming to refine sales processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Oversee the integration and operation of Mulesoft Servers, ensuring a smooth and effective data exchange between Salesforce and other business systems.
  • Oversee the deployment process for Salesforce implementations, from minor adjustments to significant overhauls, ensuring operational continuity and minimal disruption.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT departments to convert complex business needs into viable and strategic Salesforce architectural designs.
  • Resolve technical issues within the Salesforce environment, upholding strict adherence to governance, security standards, and best practices in architecture.
  • Develop and continually update documentation, including functional and technical specifications, data flows, architectural diagrams, deployment strategies, and maintenance protocols.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
 
  • At least 5 years in a Salesforce Architect role with significant experience in managing the Salesforce core platform.
  • Knowledge in Mulesoft implementations and 3 year experience in implementing mulesoft application using anypoint.
  • Minimum Total 10 years plus software development experience in CRM.
  • Salesforce certifications is a must, additional qualifications in Mulesoft and CPQ seen as highly beneficial.
  • Strong background in system customization, especially within Salesforce core functionalities.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Apex programming for custom business logic and functionality.
  • Expertise in developing Lightning Web Components (LWC) to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
  • Advanced knowledge of SOQL for data manipulation and retrieval within the Salesforce platform.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining Salesforce triggers, classes, and batch jobs for automated processes.
  • Solid understanding of business process integration with Salesforce CPQ.
  • Competency in managing complex data and application integrations using Mulesoft.
  • Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management, including deployment and integration methodologies.\
Experience:
  •  A history of successful architecture and integration projects within Salesforce, with direct experience in Salesforce core system optimization, CPQ implementation, and Mulesoft integrations.
 Education:
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Advanced degrees or professional development in Salesforce architecture and related technologies.
