ALM Consultant

The ALM Consultant is responsible for implementing the PTC Codebeamer solution pre-customer requirements. Projects include new deployments, system consolidation via data migrations, process improvements, upgrades, and system carve-outs. This role will work closely with both clients and internal resources to mature Codebeamer integrated into PLM systems.

  • Understanding our customers’ needs and requirements.
  • Participate in system blueprinting and contributing to the development of proof-of-concept systems.
  • Writing technical specifications based on functional requirements.
  • Deploying, upgrading, and maturing the PTC Codebeamer application.
  • Executing data migration from existing systems into PTC Codebeamer.
  • Splitting Codebeamer systems to support corporate carve-outs.
  • Integrating PTC Codebeamer with other systems, such as Windchill PLM.
  • Support resolving technical issues as they arise during project execution in a timely manner.
  • Interface with customer technical resources to support project execution.
  • Capture knowledge that could be re-used in the next projects and engagement with customers.
  • Provide expertise in ALM concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Ensure that all systems and processes delivered meet the organization’s quality standards and user requirements. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.     
  • Proficiency in system configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of ALM in architecting, solutioning, and the execution of Services projects. 
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Experience with PTC products.
