Exciting growth oriented company has a newly created position for a Web architect. Appropriate candidate would be someone who was a Web, PHP, Web Developer/Architect experience. The technology used in these groups are: Windows, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, HTML. This person will have a pivotal roll in interfacing with many departments. Experience with SQL Database a must. Someone who can be strategist with the Sales and Marketing groups and discuss technical issues and solutions, and how information and data is stored and runs through the Web-site.

Private Cloud knowledge is a plus. This person will get involved in some Software Development of Cloud Base Services.

THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE, 2 DAYS ON SITE, 3 DAYS REMOTE IN PARSIPPANY NJ.

The ideal candidate for our Senior Web Developer position has great communication skills, is passionate about their work, has a strong desire to grow professionally, and possesses an eagerness to be part of a dynamic group of focused and creative individuals.

Job Description:

• Project participation from conception through completion, including gathering requirements, design and functionality development, and delivering a finished product
• Understand computer science fundamentals, object-oriented coding principles and practices, and possess the ability to deliver a finished project without relying on frameworks
• Demonstrate mastery of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Create user friendly UI while being proficient with adaptive, data driven web sites and for writing cross-browser code
• Develop dynamically rendered pages using JS and AJAX data as well as SQL database experience including schema design, table normalization, and the writing of efficient queries

Core Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, computer science preferred
• 7+ years’ experience with PHP (object oriented PHP5+ required), JavaScript (with closures), and relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL)
• Solid understanding and effective use of sessions
• Demonstrated experience in technical project management
• Proficiency for writing cross-browser code
• Experience in troubleshooting legacy systems and moving them forward

Desired:

• jQuery and Less CSS skills, or desire to learn
• Familiarity with configuration of PHP and Apache (including virtual hosts)

This is hybrid – 3 days a week in Parsippany NJ
