Our client is looking for a Software Account Executive to drive the distribution of IBM industry-leading software into mid-market and enterprise businesses in the US. The ideal candidate will bring a B2B sales approach that focuses on demonstrating value to the business. The applicant must demonstrate the ability to drive IBM software sales across IBM’s software portfolio including: Data and Analytics, AI, Security, Cloud, Storage Software, and SaaS solutions. What You'll Do:
Drive: Utilize proven skills and capabilities to expand MSI's IBM Software solutions and adoption within Mid-Market and Enterprise customers.
Engage: Work directly with clients to understand their business requirements and challenges and how MSI/IBM software products and solutions can satisfy their needs.
Be a consultative advisor and problem solver: Advise businesses to address their business goals and objectives with Data and Analytics, AI, Security, Cloud, Storage Software, and SaaS solutions with IBM software and MSI Services. Develop strong business cases and financial justifications will be a significant attribute of the role which will demonstrate how MSI is positioned to solve customers' business problems.
Win as one team: Demonstrate sale leadership and cross-functional collaboration with extended team members to drive software sales and solutions that positions MSI to win.
Shape strategy: Contribute to the MSI/IBM software sales strategy and the tactics that will drive success across MSI’s business objectives.

Ability to address specific industry business needs, industry processes and standards, and compliance requirements for the industries MSI services.
Ability to articulate a software journey map for innovation based on experiences, best practices, and technology trends.
Knowledge across IBM software portfolio and integration support.
Ability to articulate value of IBM software sales plays based on industry and client use cases.
Ability to generate strong proof of concepts and client value propositions to drive compelling reasons to act.
Understand how to leverage the IBM ecosystem working with IBM technology and brand sales teams.
Utilize and leverage consultative selling.
