Sr. Systems Engineer Our client is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer for a fulltime perm opportunity. This is a hybrid opportunity. Must go into the office 2 to 3 times a week. Our client is located in Central New Jersey (off the parkway, Westfield/Cranford area).

Work Related Experience: 10 + years of technology experience involving the following responsibilities:
Strong understanding and hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure technologies.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office 365.
MSP experience highly preferred.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience supporting Windows Server 2012 – 2019.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Hyper-V and/or VMware.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy and User Permissions.
Experience supporting and ability to perform troubleshooting of at least one backup technology (i.e., Datto, Veeam)
Experience supporting and ability to perform troubleshooting of storage technologies (i.e., SAN, NAS)
Experience supporting and ability to perform troubleshooting of Office 365 (administration and end user support)
Understanding of network concepts and ability to perform network troubleshooting
Industry Certifications: One or more of the following certifications:
Current Microsoft Server and/or Azure certification
Preferred Product Knowledge and Experience:
Experience with two factor authentication and conditional access
Experience with Windows Virtual Desktop
Experience with Microsoft Autopilot and Intune
Experience with Service Desk Ticketing Tools
Understanding of Patch management.
Able to prepare end-user and/or technical documentation.
