Technology – Application UI Development 6 month contract to hire
 
The candidate for this position will be a key member of a diverse team of developers working on a prudential authenticated experience. The candidate will be responsible to support all phases of the system development and implementation process including analysis, design, development, testing and ongoing maintenance. 
The successful candidate will work on the full technology stack (Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, React and latest UI frameworks). 
This position requires an individual with strong analytical, programming, problem solving, organizational, and technical writing skills who must be able to work on complex projects with minimal guidance. 

Qualifications :
 

• Familiar with various systems development lifecycles (SDLC, Agile) 
• Strong sense of OOP software design concept 
• Strong experience building complex UI/UX components 
• Proficient in web development technologies including native web component, Frameworks like Angular and/or React 
• Knowledge with AWS or Google cloud is a plus 
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, Strong communication skills, experienced with collaboration tools including Atlassian suite 
• Self-learner, technology advocate eager to work on any challenge 
• Proficient with high level programming languages like Java 8 and above, (Python a plus) 
• Experience in Integrating Microservices Architecture

Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, Abilities    :
 

• At least 5 - 8 years of experience working in technology.    

• Fluency with Agile Delivery. 

• An ability to work with ambiguous and abstract concepts, as the candidate will often have to resolve complex customer inquiries. 
• Ability to process new concepts and technologies quickly, has an appetite for learning. 
• A problem-solving mindset, someone with the skills and attributes to find the most appropriate solution that will bring about the desired change/outcome. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to shift focus according to priority change.  

• Must have six (6) years of experience with the following tech stacks: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, CSS Pre-processors (Sass/Less), JQuery, Angular, Bootstrap, NodeJs, ExpressJS, Bower, Gulp, Grunt, Webpack, Browserify, Web APIs, Typescript, ES6, Git Based Source Control Systems, Subversion, Micro-services, performance tuning services, Jenkins, Docker, Developer Tools, Testing/Debugging, Web Sessions, Browser storage, JWT (JSON Web tokens), Cookies, Web Performance; Experience with Automation software. 

• Experience building and supporting enterprise level applications, using any of the following technologies is a plus: Spring Boot, Swagger, RDB, NoSQL DB, Kafka, Cloud (AWS)
