Our Client has an opportunity for an Analyst DevOps Engineer to join our Solution Delivery Enablement team for the Enterprise Data Platform. This is a true contract to hire so GC or US Citizens only. DevOps is a set of practices that combines software development (Dev) and information technology operations (Ops) to shorten the systems development life cycle while delivering features, fixes, and updates frequently in close alignment with business objectives.
The DevOps Pipeline Engineer is responsible for assisting with the analysis, design and build of the DevOps processes and tool sets. The DevOps Engineer is responsible forproviding input to the DevOps standards and workflows, configuration management functions associated with product releases and ensuring the integrity of the delivery standards.
DevOps Engineer work will include, but not be limited to:
Work with Cloud Infrastructure Team Designing, orchestrating, implementing, and supporting secure and scalable infrastructure using public cloud, IaaS, PaaS and on-premises platforms.
Assist Cloud Infrastructure Team in testing, debugging, and process documentation.
Knowledge of CloudFormation/Terraform and infrastructure as code
Support cloud computing and virtualization systems using infrastructure as code and modern cloud-native deployment techniques such as CloudFormation, Jenkins, CloudBees, Terraform etc.
Ability to use analytical skills and consult with existing documentation to troubleshoot issues affecting cloud services, systems, and applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
CI/CD using Jenkins, Code Deploy, SonarQube etc.
Understanding compliant environments including PCI, PII, HIPAA, etc.
Understanding AWS security controls, network boundary controls, and related toolsets.
Understanding DevOps Concepts like IaaC, CI/CD, blue-green deployments, etc.
Implementing and following agile methodology; and working within customer requirements and advising customers on best practices while upholding customer service standards.

Experience using Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)
Experience with Mobile app SDLC
Aware of Infrastructure as Code (Ansible / CloudFormation)
Awareness of DevSecOps (SAST, DAST, MAST, IAST)
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline with at least 3 years of demonstrated prior experience of service delivery in a SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS delivery organization OR at least 5 years of equivalent experience is required.
Certification(s) in administering and/or architecting cloud-based technologies is preferred. (e.g., AWS DevOps Certified Professional)
Proficient in scripting languages Python, Bash, Node.JS etc...
Experience developing code in at least one high-level programming language; building highly automated infrastructures; and administering operating systems i.e., Python, Bash, Node.JS
Understanding of modern development and operations processes and methodologies
Ability to implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS
Ability to implement and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation
Ability to define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnosis skills across technologies.
Experience with O365 environments.
Monitoring and Alert configuration management.
Remote Capable ability with excellent teleconference etiquette
