Extranet Service Delivery Manager

Our client has a 12 month contract opportunity for a Extranet Service Delivery Manager

The CTO Organization within Global Technology is seeking a technical Service Delivery Manager to Support the Global Technology Network organization’s enterprise efforts, including our US based Data Center migration to Colocations.  We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, has a passion for technology, challenges the status quo, and has a desire to provide outstanding customer service.
 
As a member of the team, he/she will work cross functionally with other technology teams to coordinate & plan calls w/ a dynamic team of engineers responsible for supporting our Extranet infrastructure which includes Business to Business network connections, Virtual Private Cloud networks in AWS & Azure, as well as Virtual Desktop environments. Besides supporting the overall service deliveries of the Extranet team, the candidate will help coordinate Prudential network connectivity provisioning and management for connectivity between Prudential and 3rd parties.  He/she will provide oversight/guidance to extranet support team and assist in coordination and collaboration with other GT service delivery teams.  They are also expected to help drive collaboration with team on how we establish new artifacts used for new site design standards, implementation guides, as well as operational readiness docs.  Will also help drive new customer facing intake and feedback processes as it relates to our service deliveries.
 
The successful candidate must be able to:
  • Partner with management to execute vision, develop roadmaps, and set the long-term direction for customer engagement.
  • Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedures, and form documentation.
  • Effectively communicate (both verbal and written) at all levels of the organization.
  • Create, develop, and deliver executive-level presentations. Socialize platform initiatives to external stakeholder throughout the organization.
  • SME in creating, developing, and running reports in Splunk, Service Now, Jira and Jira Align.  Has the ability to find, use, and showcase data to tell a story/drive a business case.
  • Quantify business metrics and KPIs that measure product delivery, service adoption and customer engagement efforts.
  • Work closely with Extranet automation team to drive support efficiencies, improve services, and reduce overall technology support costs.
  • Develop, drive, and solicit customer intake, requests, and value adds for the extranet team.
  • Develop training/upskilling strategies to drive technology transformation.
  • Participate in a highly technical Agile Delivery Team to bring new services and updates to market quickly.
  • Thrive amid ambiguity to successfully collaborate across various technology disciplines and drive enterprise outcomes.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders (vendors) to continuously improve upon foundational services.
  • Create, develop, and deliver executive-level presentations. Socialize platform initiatives to external stakeholder throughout the organization.
 
  • Demonstrate the ability to find, use, and showcase data to tell a story/drive a business case.
 
The qualifications include:
  • 8 or more years of experience in technology, 5 years of technical leadership experience.
  • Enterprise networking knowledge include standard WAN and LAN support and experience in new deployments
  • Fluency with Agile Delivery, specifically the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE).
  • An ability to work with ambiguous and abstract concepts, as the candidate will often have to resolve complex customer inquiries.
  • Ability to process new concepts and technologies quickly, has an appetite for learning.
  • A problem-solving mindset, someone with the skills and attributes to find the most appropriate solution that will bring about the desired change/outcome.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to present complex information with simplicity.
  • Ability to multi-task and flex when priorities change.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to review/write documentation for key content
  • Ability to influence through teamwork and collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Financial Technology/Information Systems/Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 7x24x365 availability, as the team supports a global environment.
  • Experience with international business partners (Japan) a plus.
  • Provide planning and coordination support for Extranet migrations to new Colo's and managing IPv4 network sale efforts
 
  • Track success and address impediments

Able to work off hours for change windows on some nights and weekends
