Senior RCP Consultant
Remote, Remote · Information TechnologyMy client is looking for a US based Senior RCP consultant. There is 3 months left on a one year contract. The client could possibly extend this resource longer than 3 months. This is a remote contract position.

- Research and recommend automated approaches for "System Administration/Platform Engineer" tasks where possible on Kubernetes Environment
- Provide excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Provide strong customer service skills with a focus client satisfaction
- Manage PoDs, Containers and Cluster maintenance to coordinate activities with application teams
- Working knowledge of Helm charts and how to remediate defects in deployment configurations.
- Working knowledge of k8s and how to navigate around the k8s environment (how to check pod logs, what commands to use to check status of k8s resources & services)
- Working knowledge of AWS services that augment EKS applications: IAM, S3, Route53, SQS
- Working knowledge of how Terraform works and be able to troubleshoot, correct, and modify
- Follow best practices to adhere to enterprise architecture.
- Provide extensive knowledge of Kubernetes tasks and activities
- Collaborate with Knowledge Management teams to draft operational documentation
- Collaborate with Engineering and Problem Management teams to perform Root Cause Analysis
- Analyze alerts from various monitoring tools and take appropriate actions during troubleshooting
- Provide a high level of problem analysis and resolution skills
- Administer and maintain Hybrid Cloud solutions in production
