My client requires a resource with Maximo MAS skills (on Red Hat Open Shift). We are looking for someone with deep technical skills and for us to provide best practices, review and recommend design and architecture, security, and DB2 configuration.
This is a remote position and duration is 6-12 months. Candidate should be able to develop or validate Maximo solution decisions based on architecture and design experience. Experience with Maximo, Redhat Open Shift Architecture (ROSA) and DB2 DB2 HADR:
Installation of DB2/MS-SQL Server, single-region cluster, and a multi-region DR-cluster, with RPO < 10mins in Active-Active setup.
1.Develop a Data Migration strategy from 184.108.40.206 to MAS 8.8 where the source and target database are not the same. For example, Oracle to DB2 or SQL Server 2.Be able to provide recommendations for data migration tools 3.Provide support for issues related to MAS integration with external systems (SAP, Ariba, MES/LES) MAS 8.8 on ROSA
Perform Installation and Configuration, diagnose implementation issues
Architecture ·DB2 HADR Best Practices and Recommendations:
Installation of DB2/MS-SQL Server
Single-region cluster, and a multi-region DR-cluster, with RPO < 10mins in Active-Active setup.
·DB2 Architecture review and advice to choose the right deployment design/architecture
DocumentDB (Mongo-compatible) layer
Amazon MSK layer
Encryption-at-rest everywhere, incl. Rotation of Keys and Credentials
·Security (Redhat ROSA/OpenShift team)
Robustly securing the entire ROSA cluster while enabling access by end-users, DBAs, and OpenShift-administrators in a robustly secure manner
·Installation and Configuration of a 2-region DB2-cluster (__WITHIN__ 2 different ROSA-cluster environments across 2 different AWS Regions)
to meet RPO of < 10min and DB2-RTO or < 10min
to ensure each DB2 instance in the DB2 cluster is in different AZs
to link the 2 DB2 clusters across 2 AWS-regions
To set up robust monitoring, incl. IBM recommendations for tools/toolsets
Set up any automation (perhaps Operators) towards higher availability and low disruption. (Not sure if this is for the IBM Maximo team or Redhat team)
Setting up Backups – daily, weekly, monthly + replicated to a 2nd AWS region. (Not sure if this is for the IBM Maximo team or IBM DB2 team, or Redhat team)
How to restore a DB2 database from a Backup (in a 2nd AWS region). (Not sure if this is for the IBM Maximo team or IBM DB2 team, or Redhat team)
Installation and Configuration of a 2-region DB2-cluster (__OUTSIDE__ ROSA on traditional EC2 instances) across 2 different AWS Regions.
Same bullets as above.
Need detailed low-level instructions to install each DB2 cluster and to do the linking between Clusters.
ALTERNATIVELY (for this bullet point): A robust (well-tested) AWS-Marketplace product recommendation.
