Our client is looking for a System Analyst for a direct perm opportunity.
The Systems Analyst will support, upgrade, provide training, update and create documentation for key administrative applications and SQL data import processes and reports.

Monitor the Helpdesk IT Ticket System queue to troubleshoot and resolve technology software and hardware issues and fully document resolutions.
Work with external application support to report and resolve software issues we may encounter.
Perform application testing and upgrades for various administrative applications.
Improve efficiency of operations through developing scripts and SSIS packages to manipulate, import/export data between systems for process automation and integration of disparate information systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve SQL Server errors resulting in job failures.
Create and deploy reports using SQL Server Reporting Services.
Assist with managing internal databases with a focus on data integrity, security and availability.
Assist with managing scheduled SQL Server jobs and application maintenance.
Assist in defining and applying data security and access policies to college operations and to database driven applications.
Analyze internal systems and processes and assist with determining redundancies to streamline them and improve system utilization.
Research, test, improve and implement new processes and modules, while considering Information Technology best practices.
Maintain and develop documentation encompassing any developed systems, programs, or automated processes.
Participate in training end users in the use of various administrative applications.
Assist in 3rd party integrations using API and IPAAS software
Performs other duties and assignments, as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent level of training and experience required.
Three years of current technical experience in support, programming and database design/development or equivalent experience required.
Must possess excellent oral, presentation and written communicative skills, be a quick learner, self-motivated, patient, able to work in stressful situations, and willing to work flexible hours, as needed.
Proficient with Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio.
Ability to carefully follow written and verbal instruction and verify accuracy with strong attention to detail.
Experience in a technical support environment, knowledge of relational databases, normalization, and programming methodology is required.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office required.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all interactions with people and information, and adhere to data security standards, as well as FERPA and HIPAA compliancy required.
Ability to work independently and in teams in a demand-based, service oriented setting required.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral and communication skills with fluency in both verbal and written English required.
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel, administrative users, staff, faculty and students.
Have strong analytical skills and a logical approach to problem solving.
SQL programming skills are essential and one other commonly used programming language (Perl, PHP, ASP.NET, C#, VB.Net, Java, PowerShell, HTML, and ColdFusion) is desirable.
Microsoft SQL Server 2012, creating and modifying T-SQL scripts, SSIS packages, SSRS reports, and data manipulation with Excel, Access and Microsoft SQL Server is also required.
Knowledge of PowerCampus, PowerFAIDS, Raiser’s Edge, and Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains or similar applications with a higher education background is preferred.
Knowledge of Constituo integration software
Have a basic understanding of project management principles.
