Senior Software Engineer

The ideal Senior Software Developer candidate is an expert C#/C++ programmer, who works well independently and as part of a team and has the ability to work productively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment.

Job Description:

  • Develop and deploy medical imaging software products primarily on Microsoft Windows platforms
  • Build microservices, components, and applications with .NET Core, .NET Framework, and C++
  • Produce technical software documentation and perform design and code reviews
  • Perform technical support and troubleshooting for escalated customer issues
  • Evaluate technologies and appropriately introduce them to complement and/or replace existing technologies
  • Generate adaptable and scalable designs and implementations that fully support new requirements while cleanly integrating with existing systems

Core Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (STEM preferred) and expert-level programming skills with five or more years work experience in application development using C++, Visual Studio and C# with NET Core and/or .NET Framework
  • Demonstrated experience developing and using JSON web services
  • Familiarity with SOA and associated technologies
  • Experience building modular scalable components and applications using standard best practices
  • Strong design, debugging, optimization, refactoring, and testing skills
  • Excellent organization and communication skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, delivering within expected timeframes


  • Experience applying design techniques such as dependency injection, dependency inversion, service registration, etc. for building web services (specifically with .NET Core)
  • Familiarity with imaging and/or graphics programming, relational and NoSQL database technologies (especially SQL Server), TDD and unit test frameworks, the Windows OS and the associated APIs and SDKs, and version control and bug tracking tools
  • Knowledge of digital photography equipment and techniques and/or developing and deploying medical applications in a medical enterprise environment
  • Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker
