Our client is looking for a consultant with IBM InfoSphere
Information Server experience who can work 6-8 hours a week. Duration can be from 3 to 12 months depending on the renewal status of the contract with end client.
The goal is to assign the consultant multiple projects for a total of 40 hours, but consultant will need to be flexible in the event the assignment of projects is one or two and hence part time work would be required.
Description of the service:
Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance for Information Server suite
- Task 1 - Problem Management - Resource will provide regular status updates, facilitate customer communications regarding problems, drive resolution of open issues, and provide monthly management reports on activity.
- Task 2 - Proactive Support - Resource will provide for guidance and assistance with the intention of reducing or preventing problems from occurring in customers environment. These activities may include, but not be limited to, alerting customer to authorized program analysis reports (called “APARs”) experienced by other customers, assisting with development of risk mitigation plans when changes such as upgrades are proposed for customer’s environment, participating in product-life cycle and maintenance planning, and providing periodic reporting.
- Task 3 - Skills Sharing - Resource will facilitate for skills development related to the Information Server via periodic invitations to briefings by senior technical specialists.
