Sr. QA Analyst
My client is seeking a talented Sr. QA Analyst that is coming from a development background and help built the QA team.  The Manager is seeking someone that will take ownership of each project and help build the QA process.
  • Review the Functional Specifications, Technical Specifications, wireframes, workflows and UML diagrams
  • Design, develop and maintain Automation Tools/Programs using Visual Studio Unit Testing Framework, Visual Studio Coded UI, Selenium, C#, XML, SQL and Entity Framework for applications (ASP.NET, WCF, SQL Database, etc.)
  • Work on Continuous Integration with a Test-Driven Development approach to test programs and applications by conducting daily Automated Builds, Automated Deployment, Unit Testing, BVT, Regression Testing, Functional Testing, Black-box Testing, White-box Testing, Integration Testing, Security Testing, and Performance Testing and prepare daily statistics reports using Microsoft Test Manager and Lab Manager. 
  • Contribute QA expertise in the development of various modules through the software lifecycle using Agile best practices, from requirements definition through successful deployment using Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (Agile SCRUM Methodologies).
  • Create and maintain Test Plans, Test Strategies and Test Cases in Microsoft Test Manager, Integrate Automation frameworks and create test configurations for execution across different environments. 
  • Set-up Performance Test Rig (Controllers, Agents and Load Test Result Repository), Automate and Execute Load Tests to identify performance issues and bottlenecks using Visual Studio Load Test Framework across Power and Energy Market applications to increase operating efficiency. Participate in day-to-day QA/Dev activities, identify improvements in the test and development processes, consult with the engineering team and write specialized testing tools for use across Power and Energy Market applications to address specific needs.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related field
  • 5 years of experience as Software Engineer, Software Design Engineer in Test (SDET), Software Development Engineer, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation
  • Experience with C#, JavaScript, XML, HTML
  • Experience with WCF, ASP.NET (MVC), ADO.NET
  • Experience with SQL Server
  • Experience with Visual Studio Unit Testing Framework, Coded UI, Load Testing, Selenium, Entity Framework
  • Experience with Microsoft Test Manager/Lab Manager
  • Experience with Visual Studio Team Foundation Server, Agile Methodologies (Scrum).
