Job Details:
 Primary responsibilities would be to provide technical support for all Voice/VoIP Communications systems in a multi-campus environment. Configure and install Voice/VoIP communications networks and equipment in support of voice, data, and video applications. Analyze current and future Voice/VoIP communications needs, define requirements and provide recommendations to management. Supervise vendors in day to day operations and Voice/VoIP communication supported projects. Knowledge of Avaya PBX and Call Center Programming, as well as Cisco telephony products a must. 
Other responsibilities would include automating day to day processes with a self-service mindset, operationalizing cloud management, maintenance upgrades, level 1 support, troubleshooting, monitoring and reporting, alerting, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). 
The ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years’ experience in the required technical areas, be highly motivated and have excellent writing and communication skills.
Experience in the following  areas required:
  • VDN's and Vectoring
  • Have a working knowledge of IP addressing and subnets.  
  • Have a working knowledge of portable network test equipment, such as flukes, sniffer. 
  • Good understanding of Cisco Routers and switches
  • 5-7 experience in voice telephony and data network technologies.
  • Fundamental analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills are required.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • AVAYA PBX 450 systems as well as CM types.
  • AVAYA ASA program.
  • AVAYA Modular Messaging and/or Aura Messaging.
  • CMS.
  • Cisco Call Managers (voice)
  • Unity voice mail and programming stations and extensions.
  • Windows Operating Systems,  DNS, TCP/IP, SMS and Microsoft’s management
   Experience in the following would be a strong plus:
  • Ability to automate via scripting or vendor tooling
  • PowerShell, Perl, Python, KSH/BASH
  • Experience with Cloud Computing/Technology
